Neil J. Rauenhorst, President and CEO of NJR Investment & Development Company LLC has been one of the most active and prominent developers in the Bay area over the past 25 years. He began his career in real estate development in Chicago in 1982 and by 1990 was the Southeast Regional President of one of the nation's largest real estate development and construction organizations. Under Mr. Rauenhorst's leadership, the Southeast Regional Division completed construction of 17.5 million square feet of office, retail, industrial, institutional and hotel projects and generated in excess of $250 million in revenues annually. In 2002 Mr. Rauenhorst opened his own real estate investment and development company and has since successfully developed condominium, multi-family, and hotel properties. Mr. Rauenhorst has also served as a consultant to a number of area developers in determining the feasibility of and the planning of development projects. Past recognition and awards received by Mr. Rauenhorst include 1997 "Developer of the Year" by NAIOP Tampa Bay Chapter, Number One Developer in Tampa Bay by the Tampa Bay Business Journal, recipient of the 2012 Joseph Miller Medallion Award as "Alumnus of the Year", Catholic University of America School of Architecture, and Sloan Fellow - Stanford University 1986-1987.
